The Lost River was the only area that wasn't fairly open, and even that had openings big enough for a Cyclops to pass through fairly easily. but they just didn't seem too hard to maneuver. I suppose it could have just been a lot of practice, seeing as mine was my main base in every one of my playthroughs over more than a hundred hours of playing. I know a lot of people complained about how hard it was to drive, but I can't say as I ever really had a problem getting my Cyclops anywhere I wanted to go with it (Mushroom Caverns aside, the openings to that zone simply made it impossible). To be honest the thing I most wanted from an expansion or sequel to Subnautica was more options for larger subs (as in, more than just one), more customization options for those subs, and perhaps a few more end game deep zones they could be taken. You need to scan the fragments for three different pieces of the Cyclops: Hull, Engine, and Bridge. ![]() Having a base you could take with you, and spend your travel time in, made a customized Cyclops one of the best parts of the game. You barely ever see it or spend time there. sure, but you spend almost every moment of your time playing AWAY from base. ![]() Not sure the game is going to be nearly as enjoyable without it. To be honest, I'm really going to miss the Cyclops.
